Bailfish Services LLC Partners with neighborhood bridges as Ohio Sponsor

WESTERVILLE, Ohio, October 17, 2022—

Neighborhood bridges, a local, nonprofit that helps students and families in need through direct local giving, today announced that Bailfish Services LLC has pledged its support of the organization as a State of Ohio Sponsor.

As a community resource, neighborhood bridges seeks to remove non-cognitive barriers to learning. The organization works with school counselors, teachers, social workers and administrators to identify and fill essential needs for students and families by engaging community subscribers wishing to help.

Bailfish Services LLC provides critical services within the insurance restoration industry. They assist families following disasters caused by fire, water, storms, mold and vandalism. The company is typically dispatched within hours of a major event, and handles all aspects of a restoration project from establishing temporary fencing and electric through to project completion. Like neighborhood bridges, Bailfish is adept at working with families who have immediate needs.

“Bailfish Services LLC is proud to partner with neighborhood bridges because we share a common goal of helping our community in times of need,” said Chris Fisher, founder and president, Bailfish Services LLC. “Together, Bailfish Services LLC and neighborhood bridges communities will work to ensure the essential needs of students and families across Ohio are met.”

The Bailfish Services sponsorship will support neighborhood bridges’ operating model of using donations to drive impact within their community of origin. The organization has a growing presence in the State of Ohio, serving 17 school communities within the Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, Toledo and Cleveland areas.

“We are fortunate and most grateful to have Bailfish Services LLC as a State Sponsor,” said Rick Bannister, CEO, neighborhood bridges. “Their unique perspective as an early responder to disasters is an ideal complement to our focus on meeting basic needs. They are accustomed to helping families recover from losing everything, and understand what is possible when a community is engaged. Our partnership will enable us to spread more kindness to students and families throughout Ohio.”

How it works

Neighborhood bridges provides fast, efficient and direct support by inviting professionals at schools, mental health agencies, and service organizations to advocate for those in need. Advocates post needs via a secure portal that maintains recipient anonymity. Needs are shared with community subscribers and followers through emails and social media posts. Typical needs include food, clothing, shoes, coats, eye exams, school supplies, school fees, furniture, household items, and monetary donations for household expenses.

With administrative costs under 10 percent, neighborhood bridges maintains an elite standing among other charities. The organization earned Guidestar’s Gold Seal of Transparency. For more information, to subscribe, or to donate visit www.neighborhoodbridges.org.
