Opportunities for Kindness
Recently Filled Needs
Homeless teen needs clothing (#031522)
We are in need of Men's size large tee shirts, boxers, socks, hoodies, athletic shorts and wide leg (not cinched or joggers) sweats/athletic pants for a teen who his own.
Family in need of electric clothes dryer
Does anyone have a clothes dryer they no longer use/need? We have a family in our district who needs one.
Kings student medical emergency
We have a Kings student that was in PICU due to an accident. Luckily, he is back home and doing well! The family could use help with upcoming medical bills. Donations can be made directly the Neighborhood Bridges website.
Let's help Kings Kloset get stocked for warmer weather!
Neighborhood Bridges would like to support Kings Kloset! This is a wonderful resource which supplies free clothing to families in our district. The Kloset is open the first Saturday of each month from 9am to 11am at Kings Education Center.
Our goal is to update our Neighborhood Bridges community with SPECIFIC needs for the Kloset after these shopping days. This will streamline donations and help keep the Kloset stocked with the items we know we need at any given time.
At this time, the Kloset could use all size kids/teen summer/spring clothing items. Casual shorts and tops only.
Let's help a kiddo with the costs to join an after school activity at Kings!
We have a student who would like to join one of our after school activities but needs help with the costs associated with that. $30.00 will do it! If interested in helping, please email me directly so we can coordinate. [email protected]
Laundry detergent
We have a large Kings family in need of laundry detergent. Donations can be taken to our drop off locations or, since this is a bulky item, I would be happy to arrange pick-up ([email protected]).
