Opportunities for Kindness
The Dublin Food Pantry referred a mother of 3 that is in need of financial assistance after having to take a leave of absence due to the early birth of her baby. The baby is still in the NICU at Children's Hospital. The mother and baby will need a home health care worker once leaving the hospital and the mom cannot afford the out of pocket cost of $300. Recently Filled Needs
Dublin Recreation Center Pass
Our partners at One Dublin came to us on behalf of an Afghan refugee family of five. The father was an interpreter for the U.S. military and the family landed in Dublin through a resettlement agency. A local church sponsored them and with the help of many organizations they are settled and starting their new life in America. The father is working although it is a relatively low paying job. The children love to swim, and the father would like to work out but the Rec Center membership fees are too expensive for them right now. They are seeking financial assistance to get a family membership to the Dublin Recreation Center. The cost for an annual pass for a family of 5 is $700. If you would like to assist this family, please click I CAN HELP and donation instructions will be sent to your email.
Utility Assistance Requested
Our partners at the Dublin Food Pantry reached out to us about a woman who lost her father to COVID this past week. She had already been dealing with the recent loss of other family members. Due to the emotional toll this has taken on her and the time off from work she has had to take, she has fallen behind on her utility bills. We are hoping to raise $170 to bring her up to date on her gas and electric bills. If you would like to make a donation please click on I CAN HELP and a donation link will be sent to you.
Our partners at One Dublin came to us on behalf of a single mother with two children who attend Dublin schools. The family left a domestic violence situation and are currently living in a homeless shelter. The mother put their items in a storage unit until they could find more permanent housing. The mother is an Uber driver and unfortunately has had a lot of car issues this month and has been unable to earn enough money to pay for the unit. Our goal is to keep the unit from being foreclosed and items from going to auction. If you are able to help this mother with her storage cost of $950, please click on I CAN HELP.
Single Mom Needing Help with a Couple of Bills
Our Partners at One Dublin contacted us on behalf of a single mother of 4 children. The mother works at Nationwide Children's Hospital in the Covid vaccine clinic but they have shortened her hours in the last few weeks and she has fallen behind on some bills. One Dublin has paid the maximum amount allowed towards some of the bills and Dublin Bridges would like to cover the remaining amounts. If you are able to help this family, please click I CAN HELP and donation instructions will be sent to your email.
Our friends from One Dublin came to us on behalf of a single grandmother who recently had surgery. She had her 1st surgery back in October, but her body rejected the plate that was used, and she had to have a more intensive surgery this past week. She is not allowed to put any weight on her leg. The hospital recommended she rent a knee scooter but because she is not working at the time, she is unable to afford the payments. If you have a knee scooter to give to her or if you would like to purchase a new one, please click on I CAN HELP.

We are working with a senior citizen that was referred to us by an advocate with Syntero. This senior is in desperate need of some very costly dental work. We have reached out to a dental practice that is going to offer this dental work at a deeply discounted rate. We are hoping to raise $2750 to cover the rest of the expense of this dental work.
