Emergency Fund for Otterbein Students

Otterbein University is seeking support for a new fund to help students with emergency needs such as food, toiletries, books, utilities, car repairs, and more. The fund is named after Nigel Chatman, a standout defensive lineman for the university's football program who tragically lost his life in a car accident on Sept. 6th, 2019 during a drive to morning practice, one day before Otterbein's season opener. Nigel was a personable student, a rising sophomore, working hard to put himself through school while always lifting the spirits of those around him. Otterbein is proud of Nigel's commitment to his academic and co-curricular journey, and would like to continue to help students like him achieve their dreams.
