Homeless Grandmother Raising Two Grandchildren Needs Assistance

A guidance counselor from one of our elementary schools has reached out to us about a Dublin grandmother who is raising her two grandchildren due to their mom's instability with substance abuse. She is currently living in an extended stay hotel and has found an apartment but cannot move in for another month.  The grandmother currently cleans houses for a private agency part-time but is hoping to secure better paying employment.  This hotel is in the attendance area of the school that the children attend and provides free wifi and free breakfast, as well as a small kitchen area and laundry facilities.  We are hoping to raise $2000 to house the grandmother and two young children for the month.
