Elderly Woman with Cancer Needs Help with Expenses


A Grandmother raising her teenage grandson is struggling to pay for rent, food and utilities.  Due to a recent kidney cancer diagnosis, she is unable to work as much as she did before.  Any monetary donations will be used to help pay expenses directly to creditor.  

ELC Preschool needs underwear and elastic pants for clinic


The clinic at the ELC is in need of the following: 

  • Under wear - Boys size 5, 6, 8,
  1. Pants boys, size 5, 6, 7/8

WNHS Spring Student Athlete


A spring student athlete needs assistance covering participation fees and other costs associated with their sport for the season. The student needs $450 to be able to participate with the team. Any assistance is appreciated. 

Hawthorne Clinic in need of pants and shoes


The following items are needed for students at Hawthorne Elementary. New or gently used items are appreciated. 


Gender Neutral Youth Sweatpants:
XS - 3 pair

S - 3 Pair

M - 5 Pair

L - 5 Pair

XL - 2 Pair

Tennis shoes sizes 1,2, and 3 in girls’ and boys’ sizes. 

Traffic Cones for Driver's Ed Practice


Westerville South is seeking donation of traffic cones and poles, if possible, for students to practice their Driver's Ed maneuverability tests. The plan is to house these in our library for students to check out. We would love to have more than one set. Each set consisting of 5 cones and poles.

Recently Filled Needs

High School Student in Need of Summer School Course


Westerville City School Junior needs assistance obtaining PE credit via summer school. The students schedule is full due to advanced course schedule and they need to complete the PE credit to graduate in 2025. The student wants to take the course in the summer so it does not interfere with their advanced courses but unfortunately, the family doesn't have the money.  Looking to take the course through TRECA Digital Academy for $95.  Any assistance would be most appreciated.

Westerville North student needs assistance with food insecurity


A student who is considered an unaccompanied youth needs assistance with food purchases.  She currently uses our food pantry to assist with food insecurity for herself and the family where she is staying, but this request is in addition to that.  We are requesting $300 to help. 

Walnut Needs Clothing and Other Basic Needs


Walnut Springs Middle School would like to request sports bras (all sizes), socks, plastic water bottles, chapstick, and safety pins.

Gas Cards needed for homeless family


Homeless family of 5 with one child in preschool, two children at Cherrington, and one student at Blendon is in need of gas cards to assist single dad in getting to/from work and transporting his children to/from various appointments and activities.   

Westerville South Senior with Outstanding Food Service Fees


A Westerville South HS Senior has an outstanding food service fee and their family is not able to afford the cost of repaying this fee. $250 is still needed to cover the fees. If the student/family cannot pay this fee by the end of their senior year in May, per policy their high school diploma will be held.

Molly Woodruff, Area Director

Molly has lived in Westerville since 2001 with her husband Chris and son Dylan. She has volunteered at the Westerville Schools and the Westerville Parent Council for many years. Before becoming a mom, she was an Artist/Page Designer at the Columbus Dispatch.

Wendy grew up in Westerville and returned in 2002 to raise her family. Wendy has been an active member of the school community as a mother, classroom volunteer, PTA President, and member of the Westerville Parent Council.
